Ramen Festival!!!

Join us for the Ramen Festival in San Diego!

The San Diego Ramen Festival is the newest and most exciting food event happening in San Diego!  It’s time to get your ramen on – and you can go ramen crazy on Thursday, November 16th, at the Second Annual San Diego Ramen Festival!

We will have different types of ramen, all ready for you to try and slurp to your ramen delight!  And we are going totally ramen crazy with a ramen eating contest, ramen inspired art by local artists, live entertainment, vendors, and a beer garden!

Tickets are now available! You can enjoy up to various styles of ramen from our different ramen vendors with a standard general admission ticket or you can upgrade to VIP and get much more festival fun!  Tickets sold out last year, and although we are in a much bigger venue this year, don’t risk not being able to get your ticket!

General Admission Tickets are $20 and now available!  Each general admission ticket gets you your first 12-ounce ramen serving and you can get as many additional servings for only $5 each!  Your general admission ticket also includes four hours of fantastic entertainment, access to specialty vendors, and door prizes to random lucky attendees! We will have many ramen vendors, many of which will have many flavors, so you should come hungry…and then you will leave happy!

VIP Tickets (Online Only): $100 – Includes access to the VIP Experience Floor with Sushi Bar, exclusive access to the Beer & Sake Lounge with unlimited samples of beer and sake, a Fukubukuro (lucky mystery bag) filled with special Japanese-imported treats and gifts, a ramen ticket to try a ramen serving at every ramen vendor, and vouchers to use at local businesses! VIP must be aged 21+

Thank you for attending our 15th Annual Beer & Sake Festival at Harrah’s Resort SoCal!

We at the Japan Society of San Diego & Tijuana hope that you had a great time tasting all the amazing beer and sake and eating all the delicious food provided by our fantastic vendors, as well as our wonderful entertainers.  Over 40 different vendors and entertainers participated in this year’s event and we hope that you enjoyed the various demonstrations and performances by:

• San Diego Taiko Drummers
• Chef Jeff Roberto from Sushi-on-a-Roll and his Tuna-Cutting Demonstration
• Burai Productions, Samurai Sword Fight Performers

Including all the guests, vendors, and volunteers, we had a total attendance of 1,300 people – FANTASTIC! We hope you all had an amazing time at this year’s event and look forward to seeing you at the 16th Annual Beer & Sake Festival in 2018.

2017 Spring Mega Mixer!!

Calling all members and friends, let’s mix and mingle! Four Asia-related organizations – Japan Society, Japanese Business Association, Taiwanese Chamber, and Asian Business Association – are hosting a Spring Mega Mixer on Tuesday, April 18th at the Mingei Museum.

It will be great opportunity to connect with members and friends from other organizations. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided.
